Charity golf tournament helping children of disabled or wounded veterans

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – Children of disabled or wounded military veterans face hardships and make sacrifices behind their years. That’s why Camp Corral, an upcoming charity golf tournament, feels they deserve specialized programs to help them live their best lives possible. We spoke with Danell Knippers, Tara Asher, and Ernest Mitchel this morning to get the details.
Camp Corral is a summer camp for the children of wounded or disabled military families who have a parent who is wounded, ill, or fallen as a result of their military service to our nation.
The golf tournament will be on Saturday, May 3, at the L’Auberge Golf Club on 777 Avenue L’Auberge in Lake Charles.
A team of 4 can participate for $500.

The event will include a raffle, door prizes, mulligans, and a chance to win a new Toyata via a hole-in-one putting contest.
For more information, you can contact Danell Knippers at (318) 451-2396, Tara Asher at (337) 263-8833, or email [email protected].
