Warrant request issued in case of 2 kids who died in Detroit casino parking garage

Detroit police have submitted a warrant request in the case of two children who died of carbon monoxide inside a vehicle in a Detroit casino parking garage last month.
The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed to 7 News Detroit that the office has received a warrant request but did not name the suspect as no charges have been issued.
The prosecutor’s office will now review the warrant request and determine whether or not there will be charges in the case.
Earlier this month, the medical examiner said 2-year-old A’Millah Currie and 9-year-old Darnell Currie, Jr. died from carbon monoxide poisoning and the cause of death was ruled accidental.
