Volunteer opportunities for kids and teens in North Carolina

During the generosity prompted by the holiday season, many people felt inspired to volunteer in service of others in our community. However once the holiday season has ended there is often a drop in the number of volunteers. The winter doldrums are therefore the perfect time to think about how you can get your family out to serve your neighbors. Whether by encouraging your tweens or teens to give back, or pitching in as a family, volunteering can be an excellent character building opportunity.
