HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The former Henrico Doctors’ Hospital nurse at the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) will be in court Wednesday morning. Erin Strotman of Chesterfield County was charged with malicious wounding and child abuse after an investigation into babies’ “unexplainable fractures.”
The 26-year-old will be appealing her bond for the second time. She’s been in custody at the Henrico County Jail and was denied bond for the first time on Jan. 13.
